This remarkable National Park allows for a few surprises. The unique Mallee-Fowl can be seen here, along with much of Australia’s flora and fauna. Horseshoe Bend in the East, is where the Wimmera River meets the Desert and offers a calming break in the warmer months. Wildflowers in this Park are ever changing.

A range of walking tracks takes the exploring into some old growth areas and along the Heritage Wimmera River. The sense of being back to nature will calm your spirit.

Dimboola is situated on the banks of the Wimmera River and has attracted a growing number of antique, craft and bric-a-brack shops that service the visitor.

Nhill is about half way between Adelaide and Melbourne and offers a great stopping over spot with wide tree lined streets and is well serviced with accommodation.
